About Me
I’m Selasi Kuwornu — a Ghanaian prosecutor, writer, and Ph.D. researcher in criminal justice at the Florida International University. This blog, Criminal Law Blog Ghana, is my contribution to legal dialogue in Ghana and beyond. It is a space where I reflect on the realities of our criminal justice system, share professional insights, and explore reform with clarity and honesty.
Over the years, I have worked on a wide range of criminal cases — from bail hearings and trials to juvenile justice and appeals. These courtroom experiences, combined with my academic journey, fuel my passion for simplifying complex legal issues and making criminal justice accessible to everyone.
Whether you’re a student, legal practitioner, policymaker, or concerned citizen, Criminal Law Blog Ghana offers a thoughtful, practical take on criminal justice, and the systems that bind us.
